WAURIKA, OKLA. (Special)
Funeral for Charley L. Thompson, 84, Jefferson County farmer for 57 years, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the First Methodist Church here.
Rev. Joe Braswell, pastor of the Methodist church at Selina, Okla., will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugden Cemetery, Worley Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will include Jesse Richeson, Floyd Tow, Albert Howard, Troy Overstreet, Albert Davis and Bruce Stanley.
Thompson was born in Earlham, Iowa Nov. 27, 1879. He came to Oklahoma and settled on the farm where he made his home at the time of his death Monday.
Survivors include the widow, Effie of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Kennedy of Hobbs, N. M.; a son, C. L. Jr., Burkburnett, Tex.; a brother Ed of Earlham, Iowa and three grandchildren
