Relatives received word Saturday night that Harve Bullin had died at a St. Joseph hospital. He had been ill about a week, but was thought to be getting better and his family had visited him only thirty minutes before he passed away. He was 79. Funeral services and burial were in St. Joseph.
Mr. Bullin was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bullin and had spent most of his life around Truro and Peru, the family having moved to St. Joseph a number of years ago. He was employed by the Chicago Great Western Railroad until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Maud, four sons, Curtis of the navy, stationed at Kansas City, Mo., Gene also of Kansas City, Joe at home and Jack, who is stationed on Bermuda, with the navy; three grandchildren; two stepsons, Robert Clifton of Stockton, Calif., and Kenneth Clifton of the navy, all of whom were home for the funeral except Kenneth, who could not be located in time. Jack came by plane from Bermuda. He also leaves three brothers, R. L. Bullin of Portland, Oregon, Phillip of Montana and George of Peru.
