Funeral Held For Leo Morris

Services for Leo Arthur Morris, 83, of Des Moines were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13 at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial was in the Young Cemetery at Truro. Mr. Morris died February 11 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Born on December 8, 1895 at Truro, he was the son of Frank and Mahala Arnold Morris and was a farmer. He attended the Oak Run Schools and on August 11, 1916 was married to Reva Miller.

Survivors include three sons, David (Dick) Morris and Merrill Morris of Des Moines and Lester Morris of Elkhart; two daughters, Mary Waterbury of Corning and Doris Slack of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Belle Rose of Pomona, Calif.; a brother, Ted Morris of Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.
