Ora (Mrs. Ruie) M. McAninch, 85, 5½ Benton Ave. E., died Friday at the Monroe County Hospital.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Geyer-Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Brown, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating. Burial was in Oak View Cemetery.
Mrs. McAninch was born Nov. 18, 1888 in Madison County, Iowa, the daughter of Pinkham McDaniel and Sarah Galbraith McDaniel. She was married July 18, 1907 to Ruie McAninch and they lived most of their married life in and around Monroe County. She was a member of the former United Brethren Church west of Iconium.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Verna McManus of Albia, Mrs. Harry (Mary) Robinson of Albia, Mrs. Dick (Ruby) Elswick of Albia, and Mrs. Boyd (Marie) Mael of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and a brother W. O. McDaniel of Melrose.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A son, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
