Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Glass, living north of Osceola, have lost their only child, an infant son six years of age. He was apparently well on Tuesday morning, but Mrs. Glass going to him as he was thought to be lying asleep, a few minutes later found the little body breathless and lifeless. The funeral was held at Fremont church at two p. m. Wednesday. Rev. Van Horn was the officiating minister.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published, the deceased was six weeks old rather than six years. The family lived in Ohio Township, south of Truro and very close to the Clarke county line. His Madison County birth appeared in the Winterset Madisonian as well as the Iowa State Birth Records. His first name is from his gravestone.
