Deanna (Dee) Clark, 69, passed away peacefully at Kavanagh House surrounded by family on May 3, 2017 due to complications of COPD.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 7 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Committal services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday May 8 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Kavanagh House or charity of the donor's choice.

Deanna (Dee) Clark, 69, passed away peacefully at Kavanagh House surrounded by family on May 3, 2017 due to complications of COPD.

Dee was born January 17, 1948 to Vincent and Merallene Dooley in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Van Meter Community School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Terry Clark on November 9, 1968. They were blessed with two children, Jeff Clark and Dana Clark.
She started her career with Northwestern Bell, eventually retiring from Qwest in 2001.
Dee is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry; her daughter, Dana and her two children, Irelynn and Finn, all of Adel; additional granddaughters, Cassidy Clark (Heath Moore) of Lafayette, AL, and Stormi Mitchell of De Soto; grandson, Zachary Mitchell of De Soto; great grandson, Adam Mitchell of Mitchellville; a sister, Davia (Chuck) Kahle of Tarpon Springs, FL; a brother, Fr. Thomas Dooley of Avoca; brother-in-law, Steve Lininger of Rock Port, MO; sisters-in-law, Patti Clark of Adel, Tina Putman of Grimes and Judy Clark of Baxter; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Clark; her parents; her sisters, Patricia Hamilton and Kathleen (Kandy) Lininger; her father and mother-in law, Ronald and Opal Clark; brother-in-law, Ronald Clark; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Connelly.
Dee loved spending time with her friends and family; especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.
