LAST RITES HELD FOR MRS. L. V. DARNALL

Mrs. L. V. Darnall, 68, died early Sunday morning at her home in Des Moines. She had been an invalid over seven years and much of the time almost helpless. Mr. and Mrs. Darnall formerly made their home in Winterset and she is survived by her husband, her sons, Chester and Raymond Darnall, of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Cord, of Des Moines. Mrs. Elmer Gordon, of near Earlham, is a sister.

Mrs. Darnall was Cora Martin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Martin, both deceased. While her health permitted she was an active member and took great interest in both the Woman’s Relief Corps and in the Rebekah lodge. She was also a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services were held in Des Moines at Dunn’s funeral home Tuesday morning at 10:30 with her pastor preaching the service. Burial was made here at 2:30, the services being conducted by the Rebekah lodge.
