Betty A. Easter, age 73, of Des Moines, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Betty Ann, the daughter Ralph and Luella Long Means, was born June 18, 1943 in Madison County, Iowa. She grew up in Afton and graduated Creston High School. Betty worked at Easter Upholstery and Equipment with her husband for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Easter; children, Barb (Kory) Krebs, Brian Falkner, and David (Michelle) Easter; 6 grandchildren, Karmen, Kelli, Kristopher, Tyler, Austin, and Emma; 2 great-grandchildren, McKinley and Kayden; a sister, Althea (Jack) Hoffman; and a host of friends from the Eddyville Raceway Park. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Belinda Hicks.
Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17th with Funeral Services 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18th at O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk.
