Blanche Lavina Marston, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hollis Marston, was born on a farm south of Dexter. They built a new home in Dexter in 1913 and moved into town just north of the Presbyterian Church. They moved to California in the summer of 1919. On June 25th Blanche was married to Paul Ilgenfritz.
Blanche passed away December 31, 1968, just a few hours before her 68th birthday. Surviving are her husband, Paul; sons Glenn and Dale; her mother, Mrs. Clara Marston of Pomona, Calif. And a sister, Mrs. Leslie Kirkpatrick of Glendale, Calif. Blanche had been in failing health for a few years. Mr. Ilgenfritz’s father was the Methodist minister in Dexter several years and Paul and Blanche graduated from Dexter High School in 1919.
