Rebecca M. Wilson, daughter of John and Lydia Wilson, was born in Marion County, Indiana, June 11th, 1846, and died at her home in Stuart, Iowa, July 7th, 1923, at the age of 77 years and 26 days.

At the age of eight years she moved with her parents to Madison County, Iowa, near Earlham. In December 1869 she was united in marriage to Cyrus L. Bunch. To this union was born nine children, five of whom survive her. The children are: Mrs. Maude E. Hadley and Fred A. Bunch of Alhambra, California, Mrs. W. H. Morrison, Redfield, Iowa; J. Lester Bunch of Montebello, California, and C. Norval Bunch of Omaha, Nebraska. An aged sister, Mrs. Edna Kramer, of De Soto, Iowa, and a host of nieces and nephews survive.

All her married life with the exception of a few years, has been spent in Stuart.

The services were conducted at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock, by Rev. Swick and Rev. Alberry of the Friends church. The honorary pall bearers were Henry Riner, George Martin, Cal Lemar, Frank Smith, George Hackthorn and George Embry. The active pall bearers were Frank Gileo, Charles Allen, Don Russell, Merl Smith, Marshal Miller and Del McGinnis.

She was a devoted wife and mother, a fine staunch friend and she had many friends. During her sickness and death, numbers of them were constantly with her, doing all that human hands could do to alleviate her intense suffering.

What more of a testimonial of sterling worth of character does one need than hosts of devoted friends?
