John H. Delanty died last Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George McDaniel, who lived in Hanley. Mr. Delanty has been living in Ohio township, southwest of Truro, until about a month ago when on account of his poor health, he was brought to his daughter for better care.

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at the St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. J. A. Minch, have charge of the services. Burial was made in the St. Marys cemetery.

Mr. Delanty was 77 years old and leaves one daughter, Mrs. George McDaniel, and one son William.
