The old settlers will learn with sadness of the death of H. C. Conaway. He was among the first settlers in this part of the county, and made his home here until about eight years ago when he removed to Orange, California, where he made his home till the time of his death. He died July 22, being past eighty-two years of age. -----Macksburg Visitor.
