Died at the residence of E. O. Burt in Des Moines, the 21st inst. Mrs. Susan Linton. Mrs. Linton was born in 1804. She was the mother of Mrs. E. O. Burt, Mrs. Melvin Stone, Mrs. E. L. Bass, Mrs. T. M. Adams and Harry Linton, all former residents of this place.

Mrs. Susan Linton, who will be well remembered by the older residents of Winterset, died November 21st at the home of her son-in-law, E. O. Burt, of Des Moines, at the advanced age of 90 years. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Burt, when they resided here, before removing to Des Moines. She was also the grandmother of Howard Adams, of this place.
