Winterset people were pained to learn of the death of Mr. Orin Beadle of Des Moines, recently of this place which occurred last Monday evening. During the residence of Mr. Beadle’s family here, they endeared themselves to our people by every excellent quality that goes to make the warm friend, the genial companion, the good neighbor, and the consistent, upright Christian citizen. The MADISONIAN heartily sympathizes with the stricken family in this, the hour of their severest affliction.
