BARTLESVILLE, OKLA.—Charles G. Boatwright, 83, of Bartlesville, formerly of Indianola, Ia. Died of a heart ailment Tuesday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola. Burial will be in Indianola International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. Boatwright was born in Winterset, Ia. and moved from Indianola to Oklahoma two years ago. He had worked for the Warren County Road Department for 10 years. Previously he was a dragline operator in coal mines in Iowa and Missouri and had owned coal mines in Illinois and Kansas. For 15 years, he was a custodian for Trinity United Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Lois, two sons, the Rev. Joseph of Little Rock, Ark., and Dan of Bartlesville; a brother, William of California; three sisters, Rose Allen of Murray, Thelma Eames of Oregon and Agnes Romans of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
