Agnes Amy Romans, 94, of Idaho Falls, died April 9, 1996, at Life Care Center of natural causes.

She was born March 25, 1902, in Winterset, Iowa, to James V. and Cora Hoisington Boatwright, the eldest of eight children. She grew up and graduated from high school in Iowa.

In 1923 she married Arthur F. Daniel in Iowa, and they were later divorced. On June 15, 1946, she married Harland O. Romans. He died May 12, 1959. She lived in Iowa until 1947, in Phoenix from 1947 to 1981, and in Butte, Mont., from 1981 to 1994 before moving to Idaho Falls in 1994 to be near her daughter.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Butte, Mont. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She enjoyed crafts, painting, pottery and traveling.

Survivors include her two daughters, Amy (husband Larry) Fisher of Idaho Falls, and Clarise E. (husband Felix) Kersykowski of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, James K. Daniel of Napa, Calif.; a brother, William Boatwright of Clifton, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie A. Kruger, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls, with the Rev. Les Moore officiating. The family will meet with friends Saturday for one hour before the services at the mortuary. Graveside services are pending at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
