Mrs. D. L. Chantry, of Viewfield, S. Dak., is stopping at present with her son, A. B. She went to Earlham nearly a year ago to help take care of her mother, who is an invalid, also of her sister, Mrs. Chessman, whose health has been very poor since her husband died something like a year ago. Mrs. Chessman died on the 9th of this month.
Six orphan children are thus left to battle alone with the world. The only near relatives they have living are Mrs. D. L. Chantry and their grandmother, who is so afflicted as to require attention at all times. Mrs. Chantry will go to her home at Viewfield for a short time, returning to make some arrangements for providing for the little orphans.
