Lorimor News

Mrs. Faye Burt, 62, a resident of Lorimor for many years died at the Porter Nursing home at Indianola on Saturday, October 14, following a long illness. Mrs. Burt had been bedfast for some time. She resided on a farm near Lorimor for a number of years and later operated the B & W café. After disposing of the café, she worked as head cook at the school house for several years. She is survived by her husband Fred and daughter Evelyn Whitmore of Indianola, three sisters and a brother. Funeral services were held Monday at the Methodist church with the Rev. Kinzler in charge. Burial was made in the Hartman cemetery near Truro.
