Dale D. Anderson 75 of White Pigeon, Michigan dies on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids Mi. following a short illness.
He was born on April 10, 1941 in Bedford, Iowa, the Son of Carl and Lois (Kimpton) Anderson.
A resident of White Pigeon the past 28 years coming from Grass Lake, MI. He also was a resident of Port Huron, MI and Iowa.
Dale was a veteran of the US Army. He attended the Grass Lake Assembly of God, and was a member of the White Pigeon American Legion. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Linda in their motor home, gardening, his fancy red Ford Truck and Kabota tractor. He retired as Operational Manager of the Consumer Energy Gas Plant in White Pigeon.
Married to Linda L. Golding on December 24, 1961 at the Methodist Church in Winterset, Iowa. She survives with 2 sons- Michael (Carol) Anderson of Sturgis, Robert (Heather) Anderson of Jackson, MI. 5 Grand children- Christina, Hailey, Josef, Mitch, and Rachel. He also is survived by his brother Glen (Linda) Anderson of Winterset, Iowa, 1 Niece, 4 Nephews, 2 Aunts, 2 Uncles and Cousins by the Dozens. Preceded in Death by his Parents, Carl and Lois Anderson of Winterset.
Visitation was on-Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Noon to 2:00 PM at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, MI. Services followed at 2:00 PM, Interment of Cremains will be at a later date in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
