Aunt Ann Blair, widow of Jeff Blair, died at her home in Conger Tuesday afternoon, at the age of 87 years. About three weeks ago she suffered a paralytic stroke, which was the immediate cause of her death.
She was Miss Hamilton before her marriage and came to Iowa from Kentucky with the Eskews and other pioneers. She was a charter resident of Conger and was a truly good woman, a mother to friends and strangers alike. Her survivors are two sons, Leonard of Kansas and Clay of Conger; three daughters, Mrs. Ora Young of Wyoming, Mrs. Sarah Kinnaird of St. Charles, and Mary of Conger.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cronk, her former pastor, at the Blair Chapel church and interment was made in the cemetery there beside her husband who died several years ago.
