Last Friday, Mrs. Rose Langbehn, formerly Miss Rose Vogel died in Dexter from heart trouble.

Mrs. Langbehn was for many years an operator for the Bell Telephone Company here and had a wide acquaintance.

The funeral services were held from the Lutheran church in Dexter Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Penn Center cemetery.

Rosa Esther Langbehn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Vogel, was born in Harrison township, Adair county, Iowa, August 12, 1894. She lived near Dexter until a few years ago when the family moved to Stuart, Iowa.

She was married to Fred Langbehn at Casey, Iowa, March 29, 1922, where they resided until a few months ago when they removed to Des Moines. During the winter she suffered a severe attack of pneumonia, which was the more trying to her strength because of heart trouble with which she had long been afflicted.

While on a visit at the home of her uncle, Wm. Fett, of this place, she was taken very sick and died the evening of March 16th, 1923, aged 27 years, 7 months and 4 days.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Wednesday, March 21st, at 1:00 o’clock and interment was made at Penn Center cemetery.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, father and mother, one sister, Mrs. Blake James, and many other relatives and friends.---Dexter Sentinel.
