The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at Penn Ceneter church and the body laid at rest in the cemetery at that place.

DEATH TAKES MRS. LLOYD NIDA
Passed Away at Perry Hospital Following Prolonged Illness
Mrs. Lloyd Nida passed away at the Perry hospital Tuesday, Aug. 24. She had been in very poor health for several weeks and for days her condition had been critical.
Funeral services were conducted last Thursday afternoon at the Penn Center church by Rev. J. H. Freedline and Rev. Wm. E. Youtsler. She was laid to rest in the Penn Center cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Cly, oldest of four children born to George H. and Emma Cly, was born in Blairstown, Benton county, Iowa, Aug. 5th, 1910, and departed this life at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Perry, August 24, 1937, at the age of 27 years and 19 days. When six months old her parents moved to the Dexter community and here she grew to womanhood and had spent the whole of her life.
She attended the rural school and was a student for two years in the Dexter high school. She shared in the social and religious life of the community contributing of her ability to the promotion of every good cause. Early in life she professed her Christian faith and united with the Dexter Presbyterian church.
Mary was united in marriage to Lloyd Nida, of De Soto, on Dec. 4, 1930. To this union three children were born: Lloyd LaVerne, George Robert and Eddie Dean, all of whom with the husband are left to mourn her passing. Mrs. Nida is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Emma Cly; one brother, Woodrow; and two sisters, Katherine Louise and Helen May, all of the Dexter community. There are also two uncles, two aunts and other relatives and many friends.
She heard the call of God and is not, for God has taken her.
