L. D. Fisher and Rev. Peterson of Van Meter were called here early this week to officiate at the funeral services and burial of Miss Drury, a former De Soto resident, but whose home had been in Omaha for many years. The burial took place at Fairview.

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse C. Payton of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, and Miss Lula Mulliman of Council Bluffs, visited Wednesday and Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Clayton. Mr. and Mrs. Payton were called to Iowa by the death of Mrs. Payton’s sister, Miss Ada Drury of Council Bluffs, who passed away Saturday, October 13. The body was brought to Fairview for burial.
