Cleo Libby Dies at 75

A resident of rural Lorimor all her life, Cleo Marie Libby, 75, died Tuesday, August 10, 1976, at the Creston Greater Community Hospital. She was born December 17, 1900 in Madison County.

The daughter of Elias S. Gilbert and Etta Hart Gilbert, Mrs. Libby is survived by two sons, Harry Saxton, Lorimor, and David Libby, Lorimor and 12 grandchildren, also eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Libby was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.

Funeral services for Cleo Marie Libby were conducted Friday, August 13, at 1:30 p.m. from United Methodist Church of Macksburg, Rev. James Morris officiating.

Burial was made at Moon cemetery with services arranged by Watts-Lindsay Funeral Home.
