C. Perrin who has been making his home with his son E. H. Perrin since last spring, died last Saturday morning at the ripe old age of 89 years, 9 months and 21 days. Conrad Perrin was born March 26, 1816, in Ross county, Ohio
On October 21, 1841, he was married to Elizabeth Ann West, to whom were born twelve children, six of whom are living.
In the fall 1857 he with is family moved to Iowa, where he has since made his home.
On November 21, 1881, he was called upon to mourn the loss of his wife Elizabeth Ann. On May 8, 1881, he was again married to Amanda McVay, who still survives him.
No funeral services were held here but the body was taken to his old home at Monroe, Iowa were appropriate services were held. – Prescott Argus.
________________________Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published, the year of his second marriage should read 1883 rather than 1881 (Warren County, Iowa Marriage record). The deceased was a resident of South Township, Madison County during the 1900 Federal census.
