The Lee Hiskey family attended funeral services held at the Christian church in Lorimor Monday afternoon for Mr. Hiskey’s father, Elwood Hiskey whose home was in Des Moines.

ELWOOD E. HISKEY DIES

Funeral services for Elwood E. Hiskey, former Lorimor resident, died in Des Moines last Friday were held in Lorimor Monday afternoon. Mr. Hiskey, who was 74 years of age, died at the Jordan nursing home in Des Moines on the 25th, after an illness of two months.

He had been a Des Moines resident for the past 25 years. His funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Christian church in Lorimor, and burial was made in the Barney cemetery.

Mr. Hiskey is survived by three sons, William and James of Des Moines, and Lee of Patterson. He also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Rachel Grissom, Mrs. Bennie Short and Mrs. Eva Kentner, all of Des Moines; five brothers, Elmer of Cumming, Elbert of Cedar Falls, Elza of Lorimor, Verne of Great Falls, Montana and Roy Hiskey of St. Joseph, Missouri, and three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Proost of Great Falls, Mrs. Gertie Jackson and Vesta Dodd of Lorimor.
