This item from last Friday’s News: Wm. Finnemore, a leading citizen of Scott township, died last night of typhoid fever. Five of the family were down with the same disease, and the second daughter not expected to live through the day succeeding the death of the father.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published, the deceased was actually the wife of William Fenimore, Martha (nee Ogburn). William Fenimore died in 1917 and his obituary is posted on this website. The "second daughter", referred to in this article was Minerva Fenimore who, according to the gravestone, died the day after her mother.
