Mrs. Peter Clear died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 4th, at her home after a serious illness of a couple of weeks. She has not been well for a couple of years and she had a stroke several weeks ago, from which she never recovered. Mrs. Clear came to this county when she was a girl twelve years old, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schoultz. A number of years ago she was married to Lawrence Rush, who was killed some years later. About ten years ago she was married to Mr. Clear.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock at Tidrick’s undertaking parlors. Rev. S. A. Gillet will conduct them and burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery. Mrs. Clear is survived by her husband and five children, who live out of this county.
