A Kansas City Woman and Family Were in Los Angeles for the Winter.
A telegram from Los Angeles, Cal., announces the death there of the wife of S. G. Bevington, a retired stockman, who formerly lived at 2917 Forest Avenue, Kansas City. Mrs. Bevington was about 30 years old and was born in Ireland, coming to this country when a child. She was married to Mr. Bevington about ten years ago. She was his second wife and left no children, although one stepdaughter survives.
The funeral is to be held today in Los Angeles.
About the middle February the home on Forest Avenue was given up and the family moved to Los Angeles for the winter. Mrs Bevington’s death came as a surprise to her friends in this city, as she was strong and well when she left here. Mr. Bevington owns several large ranches.
