St. Charles

This community was shocked on last Friday morning when the news was received that Mrs. A. C. Weil had passed away at a hospital in Des Moines. She had given birth to a fine baby girl the evening before and from all outward appearances was getting along nicely, when a hemorrhage set in, which those in attendance were unable to control, and she died about three o'clock Friday morning.

Thus in her death St. Charles loses one of its finest and best citizens, the community a great helper and the husband a most devoted and faithful wife. Mr. Weil is extended in this his dark hour of sorrow the profound and sincere sympathy of a host of warm friends.
