Miss Bridget Swift, an old time resident of Crawford township, but recently of Des Moines died at the Mercy hospital on Wednesday of last week and was buried in Saint Patrick’s cemetery Thursday morning.

Miss Swift came of a large family all of whom are dead except a sister, Sister Mary Leander, a nun, in a Chicago convent and one brother Patrick of Des Moines.

The body of Miss Swift was brought from Des Moines Wednesday to the home of O. Bussanmas here, and on Thursday morning was taken to St. Patrick’s church where services were conducted by the Rev. M. F. Dugan. Rev. Donahue of Des Moines read the burial service at the grave. Miss Swift was in the 82nd year of her life.
