Charles Spain, an aged resident of Churchville, died at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines last Monday afternoon. He had been in poor health for some time and was taken to the hospital a week ago.
He is survived by a large family of sons and daughters. His wife died several years ago. Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time of this writing.
