Word was received here Sunday morning that Mrs. Roy Collins, who went violently insane two weeks ago and was sent to Clarinda, died there Friday morning. This is sad news to her many friends here. Mr. Collins left on the C. G. W. from Hanley at 1:28 Sunday afternoon and will bring the remains here for interment. She leaves a husband and four small children who will miss her pleasant face and kindness in the home, aside from a host of friends. We extend our sympathy to the family.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at two o’clock at the Christian church, by Rev. Coffey, over the remains of Mrs. Roy Collins, who died at Clarinda Friday. The corpse arrived here Monday afternoon on the Burlington.
