Cindy "Cynthia" Ann Cooper

Cynthia Ann Cooper, daughter of Jean W. Felton and Doris Jean (Hollen) Holm was born September 23, 1948 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at 67 years of age.

Cynthia received her education in Interstate 35 High School. She was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" Cooper on October 23, 1971 at New Virginia, Iowa and 4 children blessed this union.

Cynthia worked as a CNA for Warren County Health Services and also for Mosiac where she also volunteered as a client guardian for many years, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed trips to the casino, shopping, reading, and dancing. She always looked forward to the Iowa State Fair, the New Virginia Old Settlers parade and traveling, especially to Arizona. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and always loved family gatherings.

Those relatives who preceded Cynthia in death were her father, Jean W. Felton; grandfather, Wade Felton and grandmother, Zylphia Felton.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Charles "Chuck" Cooper of New Virginia, IA; son, Brian Cooper of Des Moines, IA; daughter, Raquel "Rockie" (Bob) Lundy of Osceola, IA; daughter, Tami (Donnie) Boutwell of Athens, AL; son, Ricky (Jaque Harmon) Cooper of Indianola, IA; mother, Doris Jean Holm of Norwalk, IA; brother, Merle Felton of New Virginia, IA; sisters, Diana McDole of New Virginia, IA, Connie Felton of Indianola, IA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Megan (Kyle Savage) Boutwell, Jaci Boutwell, Jessika (Manuel) Flores, Dilan Boutwell, Brandon (Rebecca) Lundy, Kelsi Lundy, Brooke Lundy, Jenna Lundy, Kaylee Cooper, Carson Cooper, Zoey Harmon, Annie Harmon, 8 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to her family for a tribute to be decided on at a later date.
