TRURO NEWS BITS

HEART AILMENT FATAL TO MRS. R. R. ROBY OF TRURO

The community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. R. R. Roby at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines. Mrs. Roby had entered the hospital the previous Sunday with a heart ailment.

Funeral services were held from the home here Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Frederick Cooper, pastor of the Christian church with interment in the Young cemetery.

NEWS OF INTEREST FROM ST. CHARLES

Mrs. Anna Cooley Roby of Truro, well known to a number of people here passed away at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines Tuesday afternoon after a short illness.

Undertaker Reed brought the body here Tuesday evening and on Thursday morning it was taken to her home in Truro where funeral services were held.
