Ralph J. Lose, 23 years of age, died at his home at 1169 27th street in Des Moines Sunday, Feb. 21, of a heart attack. The fire department rescue squad was unable to revive him. Mr. Lose has had a heart ailment since childhood.

He was born at Norwalk but had lived in Des Moines for 15 years. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lose who formerly lived here on what is now the Robert Bell farm.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday from St. John’s Catholic church in Des Moines with burial being in the Glendale cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Lose, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lose of Des Moines, two sisters, Katherine Ann Lose and Mrs. Bonita Neswold and four brothers, Robert, Louis, John and Edward, all of Des Moines.
