Funeral services for Miss Minnie Fife, who passed away March 18th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. J. Bumbarger, of Osceola, was held here Monday of last week at the Christian church with Rev. McCallum of Osceola in charge of the services.

Miss Fife was born in this vicinity and had spent the most of her life in and near here, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Fife, old pioneers of South and Ohio townships. She is survived by four sisters and one brother. Burial was in the St. Charles cemetery.

Miss Minnie Ellen Fife, the daughter of Samuel and Francis Fife, was born in Madison county, near Saint Charles, where she lived practically her entire life. She affiliated with the church when a young girl and lived a constant Christian until her death which occurred at her sister’s home, Mrs. W. J. Bumbarger at Osceola, March 18, 1933 at 9:00 p.m.

She was of a family of ten children. Two sisters and two brothers preceding her in death.

She leaves to mourn her going, four sisters, Mrs. Della Thompson, Lorimor, Iowa; Mrs. Nora Bumbarger, Osceola; Mrs. Emma Downs, Butler, Missouri, and Mrs. Alice Kale, Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and one brother, Homer Fife of Omaha, Nebraska.

She had prepared for her going—selecting every detail.

Funeral services were held from the Christian church at St. Charles, Iowa, Monday afternoon at 2:30.

Rev. F. C. McCallon, pastor of the Osceola Church of Christ conducted the service using for his scripture reading the 23rd Psalm.

Interment was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
