Robert “Bobby” Gene Osborn Memorial Service
Dec. 2014, Winterset, IowaRobert Gene Osborn was the son of Maxwell “Max” and Ella (Morse) Osborn born on December 21, 1944.
Robert graduated from Winterset High School and went into the Army during the Vietnam War on the 12 Dec 1962 and was discharged in December 27, 1965.On August 26, 1975, he was married to Donna Woodside in Marceline, Missouri. No children were born to this marriage.
Robert worked at a McDonalds in Des Moines shortly after getting out of the Army. Later he went to work with his father, Max painting houses for a period of time. Later on he was a janitor in the Winterset School system.
Robert and Donna lived in Missouri, they moved to Winterset for a few years, then they moved back to Missouri. At the time of his death on December 14, 2014 Robert was living at the Veterans Home in Cameron Missouri.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, his parents, Max and Ella, his brother, Elbert, his grandparents; Leon and Wilda (McKibben) Morse and Earl & Sally (Palmer) Osborn. His aunts and Uncles; William “Bill” & Velda Morse, Edward “Ed” & Maxine Jensen, Homer & Grace Osborn, Wilber & Opal Ahart, Hallie Davis, Walter & Muriel Lathrum, Irene Banks, Bill & Vera Igo, along with several first cousins.
Bobby’s gravestone is in the Winterset Cemetery.
