Page 1Death of Maggie Long
At the residence of John Long in Monroe township occurred the death of his daughter Maggie Long, Friday morning March 7th. The deceased was a bright and winsome young lady 25 years old and was much loved by a large circle of acquaintances.
She was seized with consumption several years ago and her sister Mollie accompanied her to Denver, Colorado, last year hoping that she could grow better. The trip west did her no good and they came home. A few days after their arrival home she commenced to grow worse and on Friday she passed away. Her death is a sad blow to the family and a large circle of friends.
