Mrs. M. E. Debord of Patterson reported dangerously ill in the last issue of the NEWS is now no more. She departed this life on Monday the 16th inst., and was buried on the 18th. Mrs. Debord was one of the oldest settlers of Madison county, was a quiet inoffensive woman, beloved by all her neighbors. She departed this life in the 73rd, years of her age, leaving behind a loving husband and a large circle of sorrowing friends.
