Mrs. Mattie Driscoll, 66, of 1523 Sixth avenue in Des Moines, passed away Saturday at her home after an illness of eight months. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Evangelical United Brethern church in Van Meter, with burial at the Union chapel cemetery near Booneville. Mrs. Driscoll spent a greater part of her life near Van Meter. Besides her husband, Alva, she is survived by a son, Harry K. Driscoll of Des Moines, a daughter, Mrs. Betty M. Lockridge of Des Moines, and a sister, Mrs. Oscar Marquardt of Van Meter.
