Peter Hubbard went to Monteith Friday to arrange for the funeral of his brother's wife, who died in Missouri. The body was brought to Monteith and placed in the cemetery Saturday.

The Hubbard families of this place attended the funeral of Mrs. J. A. Hubbard at Monteith Saturday. Deceased was a sister-in-law of Peter Hubbard of this city.

Transcriber's note: The deceased came to Madison County in the early 1870s and per Madison County Marriage Records, was married to James Wallace in 1878 and Jacob Hubbard in 1889.
