Long-Time Dallas County Resident Was 77 Years of Age
Booneville—(Special)—Samuel M. Hague, a resident of Dallas county most of the years since his marriage in 1901, died Sunday, Feb. 6, at the age of 76 years.
Mr. Hague was a native of Ohio, where he was born June 21, 1872. From there he moved to southern Iowa, where his early years were spent. He studied for the ministry at Drake university in Des Moines.
He was married Nov. 27, 1901, to Miss Gertrude Gutshall. They were the parents of six children, one of whom died in infancy. The children surviving are Don Hague of Adel, Kenneth Hague of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Irene Robinson of Burnside; Mrs. Fern McHone and Mrs. Maxine Fidler of West Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Feb. 8 from the Booneville church in charge of the Rev. Van Morris. Burial was made at Chapel cemetery.
