VAN METER PARENTS LOSE DAY-OLD BABY

Van Meter (Special)

A premature daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gowin of Van Meter Friday, Aug. 26, at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines. She was named Ann.

The baby died the following day and burial was made in the Fairview cemetery near here.

The baby was the granddaughter of Mrs. Mae Gowin of Van Meter and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cameron of Winterset.
