Peru Happenings

Funeral services were held at the Peru Methodist church Sunday, Nov. 9th, for Mrs. Alfred Porter, of Des Moines, formerly of Peru. Mrs. Porter, who had been in ill health for several years, will be remembered as Martha Dotson, and was a sister of the late Mrs. S. B. Hamand, who lived here many years. Rev. J. D. Stevens conducted the services, and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
