Susie La Fee, daughter of Joseph La Fee and Naomi La Fee, was born near Syracuse, New York, on September 7,1860, and died at the hospital in Pierre, South Dakota, on September 2, 1931, at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 26 days.
She was married to Elmer Morris in 1878. To this union two daughters were born, Allie and Myrtle of which one survives.
In 1891 she was married to Henry Cunningham and four children were born Maude, Eva, Fern and Lloyd of which two survives.
She spent the greater part of her life in Winterset. At an early age she united with the Christian church where she was an active member for several years. For the past year she made her home with her daughter near Blunt, South Dakota.
Rev. John T. hall conducted the services at Tidrick's Funeral home Sunday afternoon, September 7th and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Lloyd Cunningham of St. Charles, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Scott of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walters of Blunt, South Dakota, were here Sunday to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Susie LaFee Cunningham.
