ATLANTIC – Mrs. Ella Crolley, 82, 219 W. Washington Ave., Council Bluffs died Sunday at Council Bluffs hospital.
Born near Winterset she moved to Cass County as a child. She lived on farms near Wiota until 1920. In 1943 she moved to Council Bluffs after living in Atlantic in the interim.
Mrs. Colley was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Leo of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Shey of Wiota and Mrs. D. J. Maher of Dell Rapids, S. D.
Services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters and Paul’s Catholic Church. Msgr. T. M. McDermott will officiate. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery with Roland Funeral Home in charge.

Monday, April 11, 1955Ella Crolley, 82, Dies Sunday in Council Bluffs
Mrs. Ella Crolley, 82, of Council Bluffs, wife of the late Frank Crolley of Atlantic, died at 10 o’clock Sunday evening at Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs. She had been hospitalized since Saturday noon.Mrs. Crolley, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Brady Malone, was born near Winterset May 10, 1872 and came to Cass county with her parents when a child. She was married to Mr. Crolley at Massena May 10, 1893 and they farmed near Wiota until moving to Atlantic in 1920. Mr. Crolley died March 3, 1932 and his widow had resided in Council Bluffs since 1943. She was a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leo Crolley, Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Shey, Wiota, Mrs. D. J. Maher of Dell Rapids, S.D. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Francis, Thomas, B. F. and James Malone and three sisters, Margaret Malone, Mrs. Kate Bowling and Mrs. Emma Maher.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church here. Msgr. T. M. McDermott officiating. The remains will be at the Roland funeral home until the service hour and The Rosary will be recited there Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at [8?] o’clock. Interment will be in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Crolley were held at 9:30 this morning at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Msgr. P. N. McDermott officiating. Interment was in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.
Serving as casket bearers were Robert Crolley, Dick Malone, Claude Malone, Cecil Malone, Mel Huss and William Forette.
