Word came to friends here on Thursday night of the death of Thomas Walker at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joe Rua, in Des Moines, after a long illness. Mr. Walker lived in St. Charles many years, but being in very poor health, he sold his home here some time ago, and went to the home of his daughter, where he was tenderly cared for.
Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery, beside his wife who died many years ago.
