Georgia Della Blair, known as Dolly, the only daughter of James E. And Queenie V. Blair was born near Glasgow, Ill., April 24, 1882, and died at her home east of that place at the age of 27 years, 8 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, father and mother, two brothers, James and Thomas Blair. One brother, Burley Blair, preceded her to the better world about a year ago.
In the past year she has been traveling very extensively for her health. About three months ago she came home to her father and mother and stayed until God call her home on the evening of Jan. 2, 1910.
She was converted about six years ago at a protracted meeting held at Alsey, by the Rev. W. E. Vaughn. Dollie was a lover of Sunday school and church work and was loved and respected by all.
A few hours before her death she talked with her father and mother and said, "if it is my time to leave this world, I am ready to go." Her wish was that she could see some of her friends. She said it was a dreary day here, but was she wanted her friends and relatives very bright and her, and that to live a Christian life that they might be able to meet her in heaven, where there is no parting. Dollie is gone but not forgotten
Funeral services were conducted from the Baptist church that Glasgow Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1910 at 11 a. m. Significant Rev. W. E. Upon officiating in the presence of a large and sympathetic congregation interment was made in the Glasgow Cemetery.
