Mrs. Mary Meader, formerly of Walnut Township, died at Judd, N. D., Jan. 11th of acute spinal meningitis.
She is survived by her husband, six children and many other relatives. Her maiden name was Powell and she was born in Illinois, Nov. 2, 1875. She came to this County when a child and was married to C. H. Meader, Dec. 27, 1893. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Christian church.
The body was brought to Peru, where the funeral was held and interment at the cemetery there. The family extend their thanks to the friends and neighbors who were so attentive at the sickness, death and burial of the deceased.
